Beer and ice cream? Yeah, why not? A nice robust stout or porter goes really well with a scoop of ice cream in it. That wasn't good enough for us. We decided to take it a step further and make beer infused shakes or Beer Shakes.
We played around with a version of this on our pre opening menu back in 2012 except that one had Bourbon in it. Sadly, with all the commotion of opening the restaurant it didn't make the cut. Fast forward to 2016 and now with the help of kitchen manager Becky Blosser we have been able to craft some really exciting shakes for you to enjoy.
Pictured in the top left corner is the S'more Lovin made with Highwater Brewing Campfire Stout. It features vanilla ice cream, graham cracker crumbs, chocolate frosting, whipped cream, and a toasted marshmallow. Clockwise from there is the P.BeeRuptin made with Belching Beaver Peanut Butter Stout, peanut butter, reese's pieces, whipped cream, mini peanut butter cups, and chocolate shavings. Next from there is the Cafe Von Yeti made with Great Divide Yeti Imperial Stout. This behemoth features chocolate espresso beans, wafer cookies, chocolate sauce, whipped cream, and chocolate curls.
The last one is a non alcoholic kids milk shake that will be available on the kid's menu. I really hope you come down and enjoy one of these great new additions to our menu. Cheers! -Joby
